Animal Foundation
The Morris Animal Foundation is dedicated to funding research studies to protect, treat and cure all animals, from pets to wildlife. For more than 60 years, Morris Animal Foundation has worked to improve the health of animals, and we are delighted to be supporting their efforts. MAF gives more than $4 million annually to researchers all over the world. These scientists study issues and illnesses that affect animals everywhere, paving the way for veterinarians to assist our pets and the wildlife we care about. As we have many options as to what studies to support, it has been determined that the proceeds of this year's Gala will be donated to their studies on canine cancer. M&M Designs is dedicated to the goal of eradicating bone cancer in pets within our lifetime. By donating all of its sales profits to animal-healthcare studies and/or to animal rescues, M&M strives to make a difference. As of December 2009, they have donated more than $29,000 (cash and products).
